The fastest growing sport in the United States, Pickleball, touched down the first and only resort campus in the country.

Lyceum of the Philippines University Cavite Campus partnered with a group of certified Filipino coaches from the International Federation of Pickleball and Philippine Pickleball Federation and piloted a free skills demonstration and clinic on November 26, 2021 among our dynamic and hardworking group of PE teachers headed by Ms. Mary Rose Mojica.

This event is in preparation for the inclusion of the famous sport in the Tertiary Physical Education Curriculum as an additional sport offering for our students to learn and play once face to face classes resume.

Additionally, this is also part of the University’s Be Active campaign to develop a healthy and physically active academic community through participation in recreational sports activities like Pickleball Tournament.
