LPU Cavite Still No Tuition Fee Increase for AY 2021-2022

Aware of the economic difficulties faced by many Filipino families in this time of the pandemic, the Lyceum of the Philippines University Cavite has approved to continue with the implementation of its NO tuition fee increase policy for Academic Year 2021-2022.

School fees approved for Academic Year 2019-2020 will remain for the upcoming academic year and certain fees will be waived until such time that face-to-face classes are allowed. Additional instalment options are provided for enrolees for our college, junior high school, and senior high school programs. Payment through numerous banks and payment channels for convenient and safe payment methods of school fees are still available. Lastly, drive-thru payment remains accessible for those who opt to pay in cash.

In line with the Guidelines on the Implementation of Flexible Learning by the Commission on Higher Education and the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan of the Department of Education, an enhanced myLPU Learning Experience through Alternative Delivery System or myLPU LEADS has been approved and will be utilized for both secondary and tertiary levels. LPU is committed to ensuring that teaching and learning will continue through synchronous and asynchronous components of online distance learning.

A temporary halt on tuition fee increase does not entail interruption of the services LPU Cavite offers. On the contrary, various academic support units levelled up their offering of online services to students and other stakeholders. The Academic Resource Center offers document delivery service and accommodates remote assistance requests so that students may access the wide collection of print and digital collection available at the library. The Guidance and Testing offers online consultation, counselling and referrals while the Health Services Department provides telemedicine consultations for any health-related concerns. The Student Affairs Office will soon conduct a virtual Student Orientation session for freshmen and transferees as well as issue digital copies of the Student Handbook. Units such as the SRMD, ICTD and CPD have intensified efforts to respond to emails, calls and other forms of inquiry and feedback coming from students, parents and other stakeholders.

LPU Cavite accommodates essential school-related transactions online, maintains the campus and its state-of-the-art facilities, and ensures its readiness for an eventual resumption of face-to-face classes even on a limited capacity.
