CQA Conducts Integrated Management System (ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 21001:2018) Documented Information Seminar-Workshop
On August 7, 2024, LPU Cavite held a seminar-workshop on Integrated Management System (IMS) documentation, focusing on ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 21001:2018 standards, at the Audio-Visual Theater. Organized by the Center for Quality Assurance and Knowledge Management, under Director Roy Ferolino, in collaboration with the Human Resources Department led by Director Lourdes C. Reyes, the event was a significant step towards aligning the university’s operations with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The seminar was attended by Document Custodians from various units, Assistant Document Custodians, newly appointed Deans, Unit Heads, College Secretaries, and Program Chairpersons. The workshop emphasized the importance of proper documentation in achieving quality education (SDG 4) and ensuring responsible management practices (SDG 16) across the university.
Participants engaged in discussions and hands-on activities to enhance their skills in managing IMS documentation, which is vital for maintaining the university’s commitment to quality and sustainability. By aligning its management systems with international standards and the SDGs, LPU Cavite continues to demonstrate its dedication to fostering a culture of excellence and sustainability in education.
