A Trainer’s Methodology Assessment was held at the Jacobo Z. Gonzales Trade School, Biñan, Laguna. It was attended by different participants from the CALABARZON region. Lyceum of the Philippines University Cavite was one of the schools that participated in the assessment. The participants from LPU were Ms. Rosanna G. Laurel, daughter of Atty. Roberto P. Laurel, President of LPU, Ms. Rhia V. Espanto, faculty member of COECSA, and Mr. Joven B. Cajigas, Coordinator, Computer Studies. Mr. Aldrin Delos Santos, faculty from the Dasmariñas City Computer Institute likewise attended the activity.

The assessment started at exactly 9 in the morning and was facilitated by three (3) TESDA TM assessors. The test included a written exam with 45 essay items that took almost 2 hours to complete. The next part was the practical exam, wherein the participants conducted and facilitated their chosen programs to sample candidates.

Ms. Laurel conducted her Beauty Care training that focused on body massage, spa, facial spa, make-up, and foot spa. She also demonstrated how to apply make up to the students.

Ms. Espanto and Mr. Cajigas, both Computer Systems Servicing NC II holders, conducted their program about installation and configuring computer systems, setting up computer networks and computer servers, and maintaining and repairing computer systems and networks.

Mr. Delos Santos also conducted and facilitated his program about Visual Graphic Design as he had been granted VGP NC II.

Finally, all participants were interviewed by the assessors. In the end, all the participants hurdled their TM assessment and were certified as TESDA Trainers.
