The Research and Skills Development Office conducted the first TESDA training in Lyceum of the Philippines University Cavite last August 27 to September 18. With this training, LPU strengthened the interconnection with TESDA as well as promoted the University’s mission to a broader community.
Participants from different departments were encouraged to join the training so that they will gain knowledge and skills that can complement their present professions. Mr. Rommel Libria, a freelance TESDA trainer, was invited to teach the participants the Trainer’s Methodology in preparation for their National Certificate. The university selected three (3) teaching personnel from the College of Engineering, Computer Studies and Architecture namely Ms. Rhia Espanto, Mr. Joven Cajigas and Mr. Jorge Burgos. Ms. Rosanna Laurel, daughter of Mr. Roberto P. Laurel was also invited to join the training. Also, three (3) participants outside the University also joined the training.
The Trainer’s Methodology lasted for fifteen (15) days and it served as their preparation for their assessment.
