PAPSCU recently resumed its training workshop for “Writing Highly Publishable Papers for ISI/SCOPUS Publications” using the SEM approach on November 7 and 14, 2020 via zoom meeting with Prof Johnny Amora of De La Salle College of St Benilde as resource speaker.
On the first day, the speaker stressed the importance of Structural Equation Modeling in representing, estimating and testing a network of relationship between variables. He emphasized the different measurement components: convergent validity statistic, discriminant validity statistic, reliability and validity to determine how good a test is for the situation and how trustworthy a score.
He enlightened participants about the different software/approaches to be used such as Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS SEM),Covariance Based Structural Equation Modeling (CB SEM),AMOS based on research goals.
Through this training-workshop insights and skills in conducting research were enhanced, particularly in submitting Research output for publications.
LPU -Cavite participants in this webinar include Ms Reena Asturias Man, RN, RM of the College of Nursing and Engr Drexler Sibal, OIC Chair of Civil Engineering.
