3RD ASIAN CONFERENCE ON MULTIDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH IN HIGHER EDUCATION (ACMRHE)

On the 26th to the 28th of November, the 3rd Asian Conference on Multidisciplinary Research in Higher Education was held at the Marriott Hotel Manila, Grand Ball Room. The conference was attended by different colleges from around the Asian continent. ACMRHE 2015 was themed “Research for Universities and Colleges to Achieve World Ranking Status.”

Mr. Genaro G. Japos, Ph.D., the President of IAMURE Multidisciplinary Research expresses his desire that every university in Asia should be research capable enough to increase its ranking in the global arena. As LPU missions to be a leading university in the Pacific region, LPU was invited to present researches from the university. LPU Cavite’s delegates was composed of Ms. Kimberly Joy E. Alcaraz, Research Coordinator, and Dr. Mark Irvin C. Celis, Director of Technical Skills Development. Dr. Celis was invited to be the Master of Ceremony of the event and at the same time act as a session manager of the conference. Ms. Alcaraz, the representative of LPU Cavite, presented her research about “The Rhetorical Appeals of LPU’s Marketing Communications: Basis for Operations Initiatives” which discussed the marketing strategies of the university to encourage students to enroll at LPU Cavite. This research paper was presented not only at this conference but also at different research conferences in the previous months.

This 3-day research conference is one of the accomplishments or achievements of Lyceum of the Philippines University as it aims to be competitive in the Asia-Pacific Region. It prepares the university deal with the challenges and competitiveness of the multi-national universities around the world.
