INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MULTIDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH

Dr. Mark Irvin C. Celis, Technical Skills Development Director, participated in the 2nd International Conference on Multidisciplinary  Research with the theme “The Role of Research for Outcome-Based Education”, held last October 27-30, 2015 at Quest Hotel and Conference Center. The international conference was sponsored by the Philippine Association of Institutions for Research.  The general objective of the conference is to present multidisciplinary researches as means of dissemination and utilization of new knowledge.

Dr. Celis presented a study entitled “Gender Equality in Lyceum of the Philippines University Education: Basis for Development of Gender Responsive Learning Environment”. The paper is co-authored by Ms.  Evangeline G. Aviñante, Head, Guidance and Testing Center and Ms. Lourdes Reyes, Head, Student Affairs Office.

Dr. Celis also served judge to various research paper presentations during the conference. All in all, conference gave the participants the opportunities to find new discoveries in research and to forge collaboration with researchers.
