Office 365 Self-Service Password Reset

Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) is a feature that enables users to reset their own passwords without the need of contacting an IT staff for help.

Use the following steps to reset the password of your Office 365 account and get access to your account.

1. From your Office 365 login page, click the Forgot my password link.

2. Enter your University Email Address (e.g. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.[This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.])

Enter the CAPTCHA and click Next.

3. Choose an authentication method, provide the correct response, and then click Next. (e.g. Authentication via email)

4. In this section (see image below), enter your new password (password must be a strong password containing at least 8 characters and must be a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. It must not contain your username), confirm your new password and then click Finish.

5. You are all set! You may now sign-in to your account again using your new password.
