Turning Conflicts into Opportunities: A Well-being Enhancement Session to Children of OFWs

The session conducted last February 28, 2017 presented conflict as an inevitable part of life and is not however necessarily bad. Participants were advised to handle conflict resolution by being courteous and non-confrontational, focusing on issues rather than individuals, and listening carefully to each person's point of view.

Ms. Vanj Aviñante, Head of the Guidance and Testing Center, facilitated the discussion on negative and even destructive attitudes and communication patterns that can worsen conflict in a relationship.

Guidance Associates assisted in the interactive session to hone the students’ personal development.
