College of Arts and Sciences Organizes Online Activities the for City Jail

The Legal Studies Program (LS) of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) spearheaded the online livelihood training and legal aid program for the Persons Deprived of Liberty at the General Trias City Jail on November 12, 2021. Sir Dan Jefferson Lopez, College Secretary of CAS, organized the event with the students of the program under the supervision and with the full support of the Dean Atty. Janice Kristine Ramos.

The livelihood training was facilitated by Atty. Kherby Reyes, CAS Faculty and OIC, PCLEDO-Cavite, and Ms. Rachel Roxas, PCLEDO Trainer. IBP Cavite, LPU Legal Studies, and College of Law Faculty members assisted at the breakout sessions for the legal aid part of the webinar.

LPU Cavite is a supporter of the Diocese of Imus Prison Ministry through its partner organization, Lingkod Lazaro of the Parish of the Annunciation in Pasong Kamachile, General Trias City.
