The Lyceum Central Student Government (LYCESGO) and the Environmental Management Student Society (EMSS) spearheaded the one-hour clean-up drive last November 16, 2015. The LYCESGO and the EMSS officers were joined by College Student Government officers and student leaders from the various University and college-based organizations.
The students, divided into five teams, assigned to various critical areas such as the parking lots and perimeter areas. The teams were able to collect about ten (10) trash bags or approximately thirty (30) kilos of solid wastes.
The clean-up drive is part of the various University activities that celebrate its commitment to the “Environmental Awareness Month” per R.A. No. 9512 otherwise known as “Environmental Awareness and Education Act of 2008”.
Mr. Erik Andal, the adviser of the EMSS and Ms. Lourdes Reyes, the LYCESGO adviser, supervised the conduct of the clean-up drive.
