Student leaders from the Lyceum Central Student Government (LYCESGO) and the Environmental Management Student Society (EMSS) attended the very first CALABARZON Eco-leaders’ Summit on September 5, 2015 at the Local Government Academy, Los Baňos, Laguna.
This eco-leaders’ summit was spearheaded by Let’s do it Philippines in cooperation with the Rotaract Club of Faith College and the Elite Circles of Student Leaders.
Resource speakers were from the concerned government agencies such as the Environment Management Bureau (EMB) Region IV A of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and Climate Change Office of the DENR, Los Baňos Local Government and representatives from the Let’s Do It Philippines.
This summit’s proposal is to call for the activation of 5 million Filipino volunteers all over the country for the simultaneous clean-up drive of solid wastes both in land and in water.3
Lyceum of the Philippines University Cavite volunteered two of its participants Ms. Grace Francia, an officer of the EMSS and Mr. Erick Andal, the Adviser of EMSS to be the Let’s Do It Philippines’ coordinators for Cavite.
