Gen. Trias City Joint Inspection Team visits LPU Cavite for Limited Face-to-Face Classes

In preparation for the CHED and IATF Inspection Visit for the limited face-to-face classes, the City of General Trias Joint Inspection Team headed by Mr. Romel D. Olimpo, City Government Assistant Department Head I, Business Permit and Licensing Office, Local Economic and Investment Promotions Office, representing City Mayor Atty. Antonio A. Ferrer and City Councilor Atty. Kristine Perdito Barison visited LPU Cavite to inspect the facilities and confirm the readiness of its staff to accommodate students for the limited face-to-face classes for the programs under the College of Allied Medical Sciences and the College of Nursing.

The Vice President for Administration/ Registrar, Ms. Maria Teresa O. Pilapil welcomed the Inspection Team, together with the Executive Director for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ramon C. Maniago, the Dean of the College of Allied Medical Sciences, Dr. Fedelyn Estrella, and the Dean of the College of Nursing, Dr. Cecilia Quibel.

During the exit interview, Mr. Olimpo confirmed LPU Cavite’s compliance and preparedness, saying, “I was impressed with the preparations for the limited face-to-face classes.” VPA Pilapil assured the local government representatives that LPU Cavite is doing its best to ensure that everything is in order with the safety of the employees and students as the University’s primordial consideration.

As a response to the challenges of the pandemic, LPU Cavite created the BEATCOVID-19 Committee to discuss, plan, and address risk management matters relative to COVID-19. The Bio-risk Emergency Action Team (BEAT) headed by Atty. Uella Vida V. Mancenido-Gayo, HR Director, and the committee members spearheaded all preparations in anticipation of the limited face-to-face classes.
