Physics teachers of the Tanza National Trade School (TNTS) attended a whole-day training at the Lyceum of the Philippines University Cavite (LPUC) on June 3, 2023 at the Physics Laboratory of the new College of Engineering, Computer Science and Architecture (COECSA) building. The activity dubbed “Train the Trainer’s Program” was offered by the said college as part of its outreach program to the university’s partner school. COECSA Dean Dr. Arnel Avelino conceptualized the project with his team and on the day of the training, Sir Aldren Narzoles acted as the program facilitator.

It is worth recalling that LPUC and TNTS, a leading academe in Tanza, Cavite, entered into a partnership through a formal signing of a memorandum of agreement in 2022 between Dr. Rolando P. Dilidili, TNTS school principal, and Fr. Ramil Marcos, LPUC’s Community Outreach and Service Learning (COSeL) office head. COECSA, TNTS and COSeL’s coordination resulted in the success of the event that a follow-up is already being prepared. Dr. Harold Pangilinan of TNTS Senior High School mobilized the faculty members’ participation on behalf of their school.
