The 2^nd and 3^rd year Pharmacy students of the College of Allied Medical Sciences together with the Pharmacists-faculty members under the BS Pharmacy program conducted a plant visit at Sydenham Laboratories, Inc. (SLI) last April 17, 2018. Ms. Jamaica Paulino, Training Officer, warmly welcomed the LPU group to their manufacturing plant and led them to a tour around their facilities. The students got the chance to see the actual production and chemical testing and analysis of various pharmaceutical products. True enough, the said plant visit gave the students an active learning experience through exposure to the real-life pharmaceutical manufacturing industries.
