PAPSCU-PEARL Virtual Multidisciplinary Research Colloquium
With the goal of providing a common platform for researchers to share their research findings and insights on multidisciplinary disciplines and to re-conceptualize research in the new learning spaced and rebuild connections and linkages towards research excellence despite the pandemic, the Philippine Association of Private Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAPSCU) Excellent Academic Research Link (PEARL) staged a free Virtual Multidisciplinary Research Colloquium with the theme “Strengthening Research Productivity in Post COVID-19 Era through Collaboration and Linkages” on April 17, 2021 via FB Live.
Amongst the numerous research papers submitted by the member schools, only the eight best papers were selected for presentation. One of which is the research study of our ECE and CPE Program Chair Engr. Leah Q. Santos and co-authors entitled Design and Development of a Semi-Automated Plastic Bottle and Plastic Waste – Ecobrick Maker. Engr. Santos presented the salient findings of their study focusing on their system flowchart and project design. After the presentation, questions from the virtual audience were addressed.
Aside from the oral presentation during the virtual colloquium, the presented research papers will also be published in PAPSCU-PEARL Research Bulletin (ISSN 2350 8027).
Congratulations Engr. Santos and to the College of Engineering, Computer Studies and Architecture (COECSA)! Continue to inspire and help others with your research.
