Women’s Group Prepare for Business

The Nagkakaisang Kababaihan ng General Trias (NKGT) attended the Orientation on Business Startup, Costing and Pricing, Digital Marketing, and the Basics of Packaging Design at LPU’s Room J213 on April 14, 2022. The activity, jointly organized by the Community Outreach and Service Learning (COSeL) Office and the College of Business Administration (CBA) purported to prepare the participants for their new livelihood venture initiated and supported by the university as an expression of concern for the development of the adjoining community. For this new project, the women’s organization will focus on meat processing after having previously ventured on dishwashing liquid production and the selling of banana chips and adobong mani.

The resource speakers for the event were Mr. Leymar Toliba and Dr. Tristan Castillo of CBA, assisted by students of BSREM program. Dr. Mary Grace A. Berico, Chair of BSCA and BSREM Program, and Rev. Dr. Ramil Marcos of the COSeL Office planned and coordinated the successful conduct of the event.
