In a belated reply to last year’s application, due to the change of its officers and the pandemic, the PhilEASTNet or Philippine Extension and Advisory Services Network based in Laguna, recently welcomed LPU Cavite’s membership through the staff of the Community Outreach and Service Learning (COSeL) office’s enlistment in the organization.  PhilEASTNet is a national organization of extension professionals and practitioners who serve in the outreach or extension departments of local universities from Luzon to Mindanao.

The organization holds symposia, conferences, presentations, publications, and exchanges among academic institutions’ outreach or extension practitioners aimed at professionalization and improvement of performance and standards. During the pandemic, the organization held virtual activities among its members. The secretariat of the organization is located at the campus of UP Los Baños. Chapters in various regions of the country also exist.
