OPAPRU Hosts Learning Session on Interreligious Dialogue, Featuring COSEL Head as Resource Speaker

Fr. Dr. Ramil Marcos, the head of Community Outreach and Service Learning (COSEL) at LPU Cavite, recently served as a resource speaker at a “Learning and Reflection Session on Cultivating Interreligious Dialogue as Effective Peacebuilding Mechanism in the Academe.” The event was attended by representatives from the Department of Education (DepEd), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and Higher Education Institutions, with a particular focus on those in Mindanao.

During his presentation, Fr. Dr. Ramil Marcos spoke about the importance of interreligious dialogue as a means of promoting peace in academic settings. Following his talk, participants from various educational institutions shared their own experiences with interreligious dialogue.The event was organized by the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity (OPAPRU) under the Office of the President of the Philippines. It provided an opportunity for educators and other stakeholders to learn from one another and to explore ways of promoting interreligious dialogue and understanding in their respective communities.
