The Lyceum of the Philippines University Cavite sponsored the September event “Birthday Mo, Sagot Ko,” at the General Trias City Jail in Bgy. Navarro in collaboration with our partner lingkod Lazaro headed by Sis Merlinda Camposano on the morning of September 15, 2022.

The College of Arts and Sciences Quality Circle 8 (QC8) members Ms. Raizza Corpus, Ms Jovita Reyes and Ms. Melanie Gida represented their college in the event. Legal Studies students Ma. Frances Morano, Hannah Katrina Vergara and Tricia Simbajon facilitated the lively parlor games competition of the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL). Ms. Corpuz extended LPUC’s birthday wishes to the celebrants.

COSeL head Fr Ramil R. Marcos gave the inspirationa opening remarks to encourage the PDLs in their daily struggles in detention. Ms. Allena Costa took charge of the documentation of the event. LPUC sponsored the food, gifts and cake for this month’s celebrants through the generous support of the SIKLAB events class.
