LPU Cavite Supports Gen. Trias City Jail Christmas Program

Together with our partner, Lingkod Lazaro, LPU Cavite showed its generous support to the Christmas festivities planned by the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) at the General Trias City Jail. Mr Francis Jaena Jr, head of the Arts and Cultural Affairs Department shared video presentations made by students which may be viewed by the PDLs during the Christmas season.

The LPU International School, headed by Mr Mhar Angelo Bayot, also decided to focus its Christmas charity this year for the benefit of the PDLs. The university administration shared gift items to be used as prizes for the various competitions inside the facility initiated by the wardens of both the male and female departments.

Though they may be separated from home and loved ones, the PDLs, too, deserve to meaningfully celebrate with the outside world the spirit of Christmas. LPU Cavite once again showed its concern for the least in society by sharing its resources with our city’s correctional facility.
