LPU-Cavite and GenTri DepEd Sign MOA on ALS
LPU-Cavite renewed its Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with its partner, General Trias City’s Department of Education (DepEd) regarding the Alternative Learning System (ALS) program for AY 2021-22.
Dr. Maria Teresa O. Pilapil was the main signatory to the document on behalf of the university while Ms Doris DJ. Estalilla, OIC Asst. Schools Division Superintendent signed on behalf of the government agency.
LPU-Cavite has been a longtime collaborator in the conduct of the ALS program and its efforts has borne fruit in the many graduates of the program who have been trained in the university by the outreach office and the volunteer faculty, staff, and students. The MOA clarified that until such time that the competent local and health officials, as well as the university administrators, decide that physical classes may be held, the program for his year will be strictly conducted based on modular learning or through online platform, where this is possible with all the learners.
