“LPU-BLOOD” Project a Success
Members of the faculty and students from the different colleges flocked to the Lemongrass Studio to become donors for the LPU BLOOD (Blood Lovingly Offered, Obtained and Donated) on the morning of February 27, 2023. Representatives from the General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital – Korea Philippines Friendship Project Laboratory Department – Blood Bank Section were on hand to assist the generous volunteers, most of whom pre-registered online through a link provided by the Community Outreach and Service Learning (COSeL) office. While not all willing supporters of the project passed the screening as qualified donors, the blood bank representatives expressed satisfaction with the spirit of willingness and volunteerism shown by the brave students and professors.

Ms Janice Causapin of the Blood Bank thanked the LPU Cavite community for their active engagement in this venture that saves lives and provides hope to many people. The College of Nursing BSN 301 students, under the leadership of Dean Cecille Quibel and the program chairs, assisted the donors in the preparatory phase prior of the donation process.
