In celebration of the university’s Vision-Mission Week, COSEL launched a donation drive for the persons deprived of liberty in General Trias City Jail from October 4-8, 2021. The donations are intended for the inmates who aside from serving prison sentences are also experiencing the difficulties of the Covid pandemic just like the rest of their countrymen and women.

Donations of cash and kind were received by the COSEL office from the offices and colleges of the university. Among donations in kind, products for the health and hygiene of the inmates were given priority. The donations of the university will be delivered to the City Jail with the help of prospective partner, Lingkod Lazaro (NGO), before the end of October. The whole month of October is considered Prison Awareness Month.
